You are cordially invited to the second workshop of the DBTA series “Data Management meets Machine Learning” on “AI-assisted Conversational Data Assistance” that will take place on Wednesday June 7, 2023 from 14:30 – 18:30 at the University of Zürich, Main building, Rämistrasse 71, 8006 Zurich, room KOL-G-217 EV.
The second workshop of the mini series “Data Management meets Machine Learning” with focus on AI-assisted conversational data assistance aims to explore the latest developments and challenges in leveraging AI technologies to enhance human-computer interactions in data-driven tasks. The workshop will cover topics such as natural language processing, machine learning, dialogue management, and user experience design, with a focus on how these areas can be integrated to build conversational data assistance systems that effectively support users in data-related tasks. The workshop will present recent research results from the intersection of data management, information retrieval and machine learning. It will feature novel research results from academia and innovative implementations from industry.

– Fatos Ismali (Microsoft AI): “AI-Assisted conversational data assistance using Large Language Models”.
– Yannic Kilcher (DeepJudge): “OpenAssistant – How to crowd-source from 13’000 people and make them think it’s fun”
– Simon Clematide (Department of Computational Linguistics, University of Zurich): Title: “ChatGPT-Style Multilingual Natural Language Understanding and Generation: Prospects for Automatic Data Creation and Interpretation”
– Besart Kunushevci (Crossplag): “Originality in the world of AI: An innovative approach to detecting single-language, cross-language plagiarism, and AI authorship in written work”
Before the workshop, the general assembly of the DBTA will be organized. After the workshop, an apéro will be offered.
