SCS lädt wieder einmal zum Networking-Anlass für Frauen im Engineering ein:

Am 5. November begrüssen wir Dr. Béatrice Conde-Petit als Keynote Speakerin. Sie ist Lebensmittelingenieurin und arbeitet als Expertin für Lebensmitteltechnologie bei der Bühler Group. Davor war sie 20 Jahre als Forscherin, Dozentin und Beraterin der Industrie an der ETH tätig. Sie wird in ihrer Keynote «From becoming an engineer to inspiring engineers» über ihren interessanten Werdegang berichten und selbstverständlich freuen wir uns, wenn es viele Fragen und einen lebhaften Austausch gibt.

We are excited to announce that our third network event for women in engineering is upcoming. We feel honored to have been able to recruit as a keynote speaker Dr. Béatrice Conde-Petit, Food Scientist and Technology Expert from the Bühler Group. In her keynote she will talk about “From becoming an engineer o inspiring engineers”. Of course there will be an aperitif and hopefully many good conversations. We are addressing female students and professionals in computer science and electrical engineering, but we also welcome visitors from related fields. The event is hosted by Supercomputing Sisters from Supercomputing Systems and will take place at Technopark Zürich, Trakt Edison, 5th floor, on November 5th 2019 from 5-7pm. Béatrice Conde-Petit holds the position of Food Science & Technology Expert for the Bühler Group. She drives strategic innovation projects at the interface between science, technology and business around the world. Béatrice is responsible for the Future of Food Program with focus on sustainable food processing leveraging collaborative innovation with customers, academia, startups and suppliers. Béatrice Conde-Petit holds a Diploma and PhD in Food Science & Technology from ETH Zürich. Before joining Bühler in 2008, Béatrice worked at ETH Zurich for 20 years as researcher, lecturer and consultant to the international food industry
